START HERE

Good embroidery is a chain of small decisions.

Pick the right fabric, support it properly, then choose a stitch that can actually hold the detail you want.

01

Choose the artwork

Thick shapes, strong contrast and 4 mm+ lettering survive the needle. Hairlines and gradients belong in print.

02

Support the fabric

A stable hoop and the right stabilizer matter more than a fancy stitch angle. Stretch is the enemy of registration.

03

Plan the stitch path

Tatami for coverage, satin for edges, underlay for lift. The preview should show the real path, not a print.

A USEFUL SHORTCUT

If the text is under 4 mm, change the production method — not the font.

WHY PLAN & MAKE

Less guessing. More sewing.

We publish the settings, trade-offs and failure points that usually get left out of embroidery tutorials. When a design needs a different production route, we say so.
